The onslaught of digital TV has given the licence payer much more viewing choice.  Currently up to 70 digital television and radio stations are available at the touch of a button via a Set-Top-Box (STB), Personal Video Recorder (PVR) or a Digital TV Recorder (DTR).
Between now and 2012 (dependent on where you live in the country) the analogue signal will be turned off, to be replaced by a digital signal. After this date if you do not update your system to one of the above you will no longer be able to watch your TV.
The majority of people will only have to fit a STB to their existing TV to receive a digital signal through their existing external aerial.  In some cases, again depending on where you are in relationship to your local transmitter, a basic inside aerial may be sufficient.  However, aerials over a certain age may need upgrading.
Please contact us if you'd like to get digital TV and we will be happy to advise you on the best solution to meet your needs. OFCOM and HD

TV Points

TV Points

The simplest way to distribute a TV Signal around the house is with the use of a Loft Box. This is effectively a UHF distribution amplifier with several built in Mast Heads Amplifiers and a Combiner.  In its simplest form you can have FM, DAB, UHF Aerial, UHF Camera and Satellite. Ofcourse there are other ways to distribute a TV signal around your home, such as Splitters or Masthead Amplifiers or Diplexers.

The problem is with these sorts of setups can cause signal loss, in some cases it would not be noticed due to a good signal.  However if you are in a weak signal area then this setup may decrease your existing weak signal. We pride ourselves in providing the best service to our customers so give us a call, tell us what your intensions are and then we tell you about the different services than we can offer you.

CCTV is now becoming increasingly popular with both commercial and private / residential householders.  The benefits of CCTV are 24 hour surveillance and monitoring of your commercial or residential property, giving additional peace of mind when you are away from your business or home.

Advances in technology have made it more cost effective to view these cameras over the web using an IP address.  This means that you can view the live pictures either via Wi-Fi or a hard wire ethernet cable.

 Customer Feedback

“When I had decided that Sky had taken enough money from me over the years, I called Signal Specialists round to repair and upgrade my existing satellite installation to include 2 socket points both to supply the free-to-air channels.  The job was reasonably complicated by way of cable routing, however Anthony managed to quickly install both points at opposite ends of the house with not a single cable in sight!  He is very friendly, extremely attentive and with his vast technical knowledge I have received exceptional value to money.  I am going to get him back round soon to install network cabling and phone sockets as soon as possible.  Thanks Anthony.” – John, SE London.
